MY PATH SO FAR...
I'm currently studying at Lincoln College, where I am doing Creative Media Studies, I have worked on many projects that include scriptwriting, editing, and some camera work, achieving Distinction grades along the way. My projects range from creating detailed character analyses to producing engaging audio essays. But what really captivates me is using film to explore historical stories in new ways.

Going to the Aesthetica Film Festival in York has been inspirational, opening my eyes even wider to the many ways you can tell a story on screen. Films like 'The Legend of Goldhorn' and 'My name is Edgar' weren't just great to watch; they showed me a new side to the creativity of filmmaking.
& WHERE I HOPE TO GO...
My dream is to become a scriptwriter and director, blending my interests in history and current world affairs into films that do more than just entertain. My time volunteering at Mint Lane Community Café has been invaluable. It's taught me a lot about empathy and working under pressure – skills that are super important in filmmaking.
Working with the 'Shooting Fish' theatre project was a big step into the world of scriptwriting and acting for me. It really boosted my confidence and showed me how much I enjoy bringing stories to life.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME...
I'm not your typical student; I see the world a bit differently, partly because of my Autism. It's given me a unique way of looking at things, which I think is a real advantage in filmmaking. I love diving into historical sites in my free time and watching all sorts of films and TV shows. And I'm a big fan of film scores – there's nothing like a great soundtrack to spark your imagination.
& WHAT'S NEXT...
I'm excited about taking my passion for film and history to the next level with a degree in Film and Television Production. I can't wait to learn more, develop my skills, and start making films that bring new perspectives to old stories.

So, that's a bit about me.
I'm on a journey to turn my passion for film and history into a career, and I'm just getting started.
