This is a character analysis looking at Rick Grimes' character arc over seasons 1 to 6 of 'The Walking Dead'. throughout seasons 1 to 6 Rick's goal was to survive and protect the group and his family, dealing with the group's internal struggles, to dealing with a rival communities, to dealing with life on the road, to going up against one of the biggest communities left standing, with devastating consequences. Season 7 of 'The Walking Dead' brought many changes, one of those was Rick going on a second character arc, all leading up to the climax of his arc across the entire show, in season 8.

Rick Grimes is one of the most iconic characters in pop culture, and one of the most interesting characters in fiction, I love writing and exploring character's from that perspective, for a final major project at college I chose to take on the task of giving my opinions and interpretation on Rick Grimes, here is that effort.
